Idea of Artist

テレビ番組で『グレン・グールド』が紹介された。
彼が晩年にレコーディングし直した、『ゴールドベルク変奏曲』という曲からその思想を読み解いているようで、

その中に『芸術は本質的に人を癒すものだ』という彼の言葉が在った。

それはいくつかの意味に取れるけれど、決してセラピーの為のアートを指しているのではなく、『芸術は癒すものでなければならない』という意味の彼の主張だった。
普遍的に崇高な音を目指していたということだ。

アートは美しくなければいけないなんて、決まりは無いけど
私はやっぱりうっとりしたりきれいだと感じられるのは大事だと思うな。
だからグールドが表現したイデア（本質）は美しくて、人の心にわかりやすく響くんだと思った。


理想を作るにはものすごく技術と努力と時間が必要で、現実を犠牲にする部分があって、現実からも非難されて
でも自分の感性はなにを素晴らしいと感じるのか、はっきりわかる、
だから、どこかにあるかもしれないけれど、どこにもないものに憧れる。
これって、理想主義っていうんだっけ？
ちなみに篠田節子の『ハルモニア』でそういうのあった（本です）。

TV programs introduced "Glenn Herbert Gould".
The TV program read and solved his thought from the tune "Goldberg variation" that he tried to record again in the fall of life.

There was his 'The art essentially heals the person' word in that.
Though it is possible to take in some meanings, it never indicates a thing the art therapy.

It was an insistence of him of the meaning "The art should be the one healing
our".
Art dosen't have the mold that have to be beautiful, I think it is important.

And, because the idea (essence) that Gould expressed is beautiful, I thought that it sounded plainly in person's mind.

We need great technology ,effort, and time to create ideal.
The reality is sacrificed.
We are criticized from the reality. But our sensibility can understand clearly something wonderful.
Therefore, we yearn to the one that not is anywhere though might be somewhere.
Is this idealism?

Incidently, such a sign was also in Setsuko's Shinoda 'Halmonia' (It is a Japanese book title).

I decided to buy the CD "Goldberg variation" and The BOOK of Soseki Natsume "KUSAMAKURA" for The thought of Gould and splendid introduction of the educational television.
"KUSAMAKURA" was a favorite book of Gould !!
